We took a day trip to San Francisco today to visit one of our favorite framers. Here’s a few photos we snapped as we walked down the street to find a warm, dry place for afternoon tea. Even on a rainy day, the colors of the Haight Ashbury District are vibrant.

Enjoy!

  1. I would like to take up framing, getting things framed is so expensive it doesn’t make sense. Although I did get a huuuuuge shadowbox with glass for $30 here. There are perks to living in small towns!

    1. Oh, framing fun! $30 for a huge shadowbox, nice! If you don’t get around to taking up framing for a while, and you need something framed, and you just happen to be in San Francisco visiting, we know a great framer we can refer you to. 🙂

    1. There are a few less random bongos being played (although we did encounter a very cheerful fellow walking across the street carrying a conga on his back), more places serving cappuccino and vintage clothing stores everywhere, so things are a little different now than say 1968, BUT the visuals and the ambiance still maintain the unmistakeable uniqueness of the Haight Asbury District (and Amoeba Music is still open for business, which is a good thing)!
