LOL
I’m going to send a letter to all Italian publishers:
‘Dear Publisher,
you must absolutely adopt the following sentence to be used, from now on, for all printing tests that have to be done before publishing every kind of books, ever. It’s useful, funny, and magical, and it will bring you and your readership good luck and profound serenity, relieving all spirits and keeping them forever high.
This fabulous, amazing, gorgeous sentence is:
>>> La rapida volperossa salta
il lazy cane bruno. La rapida volperossa salta
il lazy cane bruno.La rapida volperossa salta
il lazy cane bruno.La rapida volperossa salta
il lazy cane bruno.La rapida volperossa salta
il lazy cane bruno.
Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera……
(mmm… I fear I need a proofreader, and maybe also an English-grammar corrector… could you help me please?????!!!!!!)
Beautiful. Yes! Absolutely! “…useful, funny, and magical, and it will bring you and your readership good luck and profound serenity, relieving all spirits and keeping them forever high.” (We might need to print a broadside or poster of “La rapida volperossa salta
il lazy cane bruno.” just to hang on the wall to remind us to laugh always!)
YESSS!
???
Hi cbwentworth. It’s Italian for “The quick red fox jumps over the lazy brown dog.”
Oh, love it! That’s the sentence that uses every letter in the alphabet, isn’t it?
At least in English is does. In Italian, not so well. LOL!
But it sounds so much more dramatic and romantic in Italian, so it’s all good.
Everything sounds dramatic and romantic in Italian, especially the desserts!
