A splendid machine indeed!
Directly from… the Twenties?
Hi Egle. Yes, precisely, the Twenties!
So beautiful and fascinating! I adore old style typewriters. I learnt to typewrite when I was 6 years old, on an old Italian Olivetti 32, that was my father’s. I can remember the enormous joy I could feel inside of me when tapping over that high-clicking keys. I wonder where did it go, together with my childhood.
Oh God! So many time has passed……
Does this bring back any memories, “The quick red fox jumps over the lazy brown dog.”?
LOL!
Being Italian, well, no it doesn’t! But thanks to Wikipedia, now I know everything about this sentence. The Web is so precious to find infos about quite everything, almost at once. Yummi!
Hi Egle. LOL! Be sure to watch closely for the next Message from the Typewriter. You won’t want to miss his next post.
That first shot in particular is spectacularly gorgeous! Handsome as all-get-out.
Hi kiwsparks. Perhaps it’s the glint of morning sun on his enamel or that Mona Lisa-esque smile of his.
Now that’s a beautiful typewriter! (don’t tell the typewriter, it will probably go to its head)
Hi sanslartigue. Thank you very much. He’s fairly modest, but we do catch him looking at himself in the mirror from time-to-time.
